WORKSHOPS

Enchanted-Rock

Enchanted Rock & Texas Hill Country Landscape Photography workshop

Date: November 2019

For any photographer who loves the outdoors, nature, travel, and people; this photo workshop is for you. We travel to the beautiful Texas hill country near Fredericksburg TX to capture the fall colors of Enchanted Rock. Enchanted Rock itself rises about 425 feet above the surrounding terrain and rests at 1825 feet above sea level.

Experience the unique photo opportunities of the Enchanted Rock, waterfall, sunrise, sunset, street, and HDR photography. This 3 day-3 night excursion is for you! Total cost is $800 (estimated) per person based on double occupancy. Each room has 2 queen beds so you will be paired up with another guest unless you have identified your roommate. The group will travel to/from shooting locations in a 15-passenger transit extended height van for comfort.

Registration opens in June for this workshop.

This trip will expose you to multiple types of photography - Landscape, HDR, Waterfall, Light Painting, Macro/Close-Up, Sunrise/Sunset, and Street photography.

ROCK RESTRICTIONS: Photos taken on top of the rock does involve some walking/climbing up to 2 miles. The rock allows for different views so if you are unable to climb or walk that far there are designated areas where other photos can be taken from the bottom of the rock.
